Responsibilities Plan, lead, & conduct financial audits in accordance with prevailing IIA stds. & information technology audits to test internal controls over change management, logical access, & operations involving applications, operating systems, & processes. Partner with financial controllers & corporate finance team to perform value-added operational & financial audits to ensure cost effectiveness & operational efficiencies. Conduct meetings & perform process walkthroughs with corporate departments, domestic entities, & foreign entities to document & develop an understanding of the business processes & associated internal controls. Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) compliance testing to evaluate the existence, efficiency & effectiveness of internal controls. Site visits at foreign & domestic facilities to test & report on account balances & internal controls. Audit reports to divisional & executive management that include practical recommendations for improvements to internal controls, policies, procedures, & operating methods. Plan, manage, & conduct either full physical inventories or cycle counts in large manufacturing facilities to ensure an accurate count of all items in stock. Work with external auditors to prepare audit workpapers documenting each audit step in audit program. Ensure information presented clearly, concisely, accurately, & logical format to facilitate review & support any findings. Plan, lead, & conduct capital project audits to ensure actual benefits & return on investment for capital project achieved in accordance with forecasted benefits & return on investment in approval documents. Guide, mentor, & encourage internal auditors with less experience. Assist with special projects assigned by Internal Audit Director. Qualifications Requires:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field & 5 years of experience. In the alternative, Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field & 3 years of experience. Will accept suitable combination of education, training, & experience. Expertise must include technical operating systems-JD Edwards, OnBase, Infinium, Audit experience in Manufacturing setting & Analytical Skills to include ability to analyze technical audit reports. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) to ensure foreign entities compliance & Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) to ensure controls over foreign entity cash & bank accounts.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Auditing & ComplianceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
