This person must have a strong background in the hotel industry, have leadership experience, great communication and organizational skills, and be willing to go the extra mile not only for our guests but the hotel staff as well.
POSITION PURPOSE The General Manager directs and coordinates activities of multiple departments, including:
guest room services, guest services, food and beverage, maintenance and sales.
The General Manager operates according to company policies and procedures to maximize profits, minimize expenses and ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential functions include the following.

Address and resolve daily operational issues to ensure guest and hotel satisfaction.
Develop and implement business strategic planning to maximize profits and minimize expenses.
Develop and administer company policies and procedures and ensure that staff adheres to the aforementioned to meet business goals and objectives.
Serve as an excellent property ambassador to external and internal audiences.
OTHER FUNCTIONS Analyze activities, costs, operations, and property positioning to determine company progress toward goals and objectives.
Prepare for and attend management meetings as necessary.
SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS Create and manage company budget and prepare and distribute reports as necessary.
Hire and terminate staff as needed according to established company policies and procedures.
Develop and coach staff for overall business improvement and high employee performance.
