Ascension Information Services (AIS) is seeking a .Net Web Developer on our Web Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing .Net/SQL and DotNetNuke based web applications for Ascension Health Ministries. The candidate must have strong communication, customer service, and analytical skills and be able to balance multiple projects and priorities.
This position is with AIS and can be located either in Evansville, IN or Birmingham, AL.
### QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 4 years application development experience
Minimum 4 years .Net framework development using Visual (C# or )
Minimum 4 years SQL Server programming using version 2005 or later
Minimum 1 year experience with any of the following: DotNetNuke, SSIS, SSRS, JavaScript, AJAX, VB Script, XML, MVC, TFS, SharePoint (these are desirable, but not mandatory)
Bachelors degree or higher
Ability to fulfill the requirements of On Call rotations
### RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively interact with client and technical management for new opportunities as well as service issues.
Gather information from existing systems, analyze program requirements and assist project manager in preparing time estimates.
Design systems and programs to meet business needs. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. Ensure programs meet standards and technical specifications.
Code, test, debug, implement, and document simple to moderately complex programs.
Assist support and/or project personnel in resolving simple to moderately complex program problems.
Develop and execute test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
Assist in team building and improving processes.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
