Carrier Pricing Analyst II - Marketing
This position will gather costing information and create pricing documents for the Carrier Sales Team and Customer. As part of the pricing exercise, this position will promote top-line revenue growth by performing analysis of Carrier Individual Case Basis (ICB) pricing requests while balancing the strategic focus of growing revenues and being competitive with a profitability strategy that is closely coordinated with the Finance Department. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Objective
Complete ICB Pricing with strategic focus of growing revenues while maintaining competitive edge and profitability
Key Responsibilities
Complete daily reviews and approvals within the various systems (ICB Portal, WebCIT, BPMS, etc.) with the understanding of how each system affects quote turnaround time.
Work with Carrier Sales and Carrier Sales Engineer to understand customer requirements, identify customer trends and opportunities to price competitive deals on a daily basis.
Work with the Planning Organization, Mapping and Net Cost on a daily basis to gather cost and check service solution design ensuring solutions appropriately answer customer requirements
Gather competitive information on a regular basis to provide feedback on the competitive market place and understand Windstream's market pricing.
Understand the Windstream Carrier product set, understand the ICB functions within each product and know when to apply appropriate products to customer requirements to achieve optimal design at competitive pricing.
Understands the various financial models utilized by the Carrier Pricing team and applies financial parameters to create strategic, consistent quotes in alignment with Windstream objectives and goals.
Minimum Requirements: Ability to communicate orally and in writing; apply known standards and guidelines to unusual or non-recurring events; analyze problems and/or information and formulate conclusions and recommendations; multi task; use and apply project management techniques; train others in work activities. Interpersonal skills. Financial and statistical acumen. Attention to detail. Willingness to comply with all Windstream policies and procedures.
