Our client is an industry leader in the Aerospace and industrial turbine industry who is looking for a Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience as a quality engineer in the Aerospace industry with a minimum of 2 years experience performing quality data analysis and employing statistical problem solving. The selected candidate will be offered an excellent compensation package with a salary ranging from $50K-$65K,and an excellent benefit package.
Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer
Manage the quality assurance aspects of new product introductions
Develop test methods & procedures to support product validation
Generate test reports of performance validation tests
Coordinate activities associated with the build of new products ensuring that fabricated items are traceable to documented standards at the time of release
Apply Six Sigma principles in all areas of the plant
Maintain test equipment standards accepted in the Aerospace industry
Requirements for the Quality Engineer
Bachelor of Science or Associates degree in Engineering, Math, or related field
A minimum of 2 years experience in quality control or quality assurance within the Aerospace industry or the industrial gas turbine fields
experience implementing and maintaining statistical process control
Experience performing quality data analysis and employing statistical problem solving
1 year as a training instructor on statistical tools
Understanding of aerospace and ISO 9000 quality policies
