Identify and lead improvement initiatives to drive the deployment of supply chain best practices in the areas of Logistics, Materials Management, Master Scheduling, etc.;
Facilitate cross training and mentoring activities to provide skill development and improve the functional expertise of the team and other stakeholders;
Collaborate with Plant and Transportation Management teams in developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies;
Lead, facilitate, and drive supply chain projects utilizing Kaizen, PFMEA, Kanban and Lean Manufacturing tools/processes to deliver results;
Develop a Supply Chain C.I. Action Plan for performance data compliance.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years' experience in materials planning, logistics, production, and/or warehousing;
Operational Optimization / Continuous Improvement;
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively at both the strategic and tactical levels;
Up to 50% travel required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
