We have an immediate opening for several Patient Account Representatives with Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology claims experience.
This position is responsible for researching and analyzing delinquent third party payer claims, determining reimbursement problems, and adjusting and resubmitting claims, working rejected medical insurance claims, identifying payer trends and working daily correspondences.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of billing/collections software (Intergy, Centricty, Practice Analytics, NextGen); knowledge of clinical systems helpful (ARIA, Impac, etc); Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a high school diploma/GED, with some college education preferred and/or a minimum of 2 years related experience in medical billing and collections and/or technical training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
