Up for sale here is a 1986 William Beaty 4-String Mountain Dulcimer - Serial #10.This little beauty was hand made by a local gentleman, the late William Beaty. I acquired this and a few other pieces from his estate.All woods are solid, and the construction is very well done. The top is spruce and the back, sides, and fingerboard look like mahogany. Tuners are Grovers. Mr. Beaty put lots of love and care was put into making this and it shows in the sound. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
